Vent Thread v2.0
So I bought my dad (and me of course
) some laps in a NASCAR, but need to change the date as we both have conflicts. I emailed the company to request the date change and after a week and a half without a response, I emailed them back last night. Dude replies with: "Please call the number below and we will be more then [sic] happy to help." So I call the toll-free number which is out of service (my guess is it doesn't work in Canada). It's the only phone number in the email, so I tell him the situation and ask how I can make the change. He responds simply with the toll free number that I called.
Seriously? I get that there are a lot of stupid people out there, but I'm not one of them. Why the eff can't I just make the change via email?
How stupid can you be...?
And continuing on the stupidity vein: I've been served with a Notice of Contempt all because someone's lawyer doesn't know how to read a freaking court order that the client AGREED TO. I'm not a lawyer, but it's pretty basic and there's no room for interpretation.
You are wasting (more) tax dollars with this
! Now I get to spend the morning (at least) in court for NO good reason. Grrr...
Okay, I feel a little better.

I don't think the call is necessarily blocked, but I believe when you get a toll-free number, you can choose which regions to accept calls from. At my last job, I know our toll free number only worked if you were calling from within Ontario.

Don't what this is all aboot, but it's time for me to go oot!
Cat pee on bed = a midnight load of laundry.
Midnight load of laundry = me not being as observant as usual.
Me not being as observant = iPhone (#2) goes through a full wash cycle.
Suh-weeeeet! Looking forward to what the rest of the day

Removed S2000 emblems from front quarter panels....FML (no paint work as I checked) and they put them on when the paint was WET so I have a "ghost" image of the S2000 in my paint
So know I either have the panels painted or get new ones to install. Poor QC on your part Honda
