So what's the call on replica watches? Fail? I'm never going to be able to afford a $40k watch, and I'm not particularly label conscious, but I wouldn't mind having an automatic watch for $200 that someone else might be fooled into being impressed with.

^ Some of them are pretty decent, good replicas are usually around $500 though and are typically Rolex reps. since they are the most popular. There are very good swiss made replicas out there that will fool jewelers of the real thing.

Most of the $200 replicas aren't very good and will die after a year or so, my brother has had replica Omega's and ended up buying a real one since the replicas he bought (3 of them) kept breaking on him.

I have a fake Rolex my mom picked up for me in the Philippines. In the course of a day, it might looses about 10 minutes. But I only wear it occasionally if I want to look important - I'm gone before the watch reveals that I'm not important

I have a $50 armitron. I have a tendancy to bash the crap out of any jewelery I wear on my wrists or hands. I could never buy an expensive watch.

Now, sunglasses? I have a sickness for sunglasses.

Good thing about expensive watches is it takes a lot to beat them up.

I have MAD skillz for destroying watches.

I am pretty careful with my sunglasses. I have only broken one nice pair of sunglasses beyond repair, and they were the cheapest pair I own.
