Honestly. This forum is loaded with a slew of pointless posts compared to many other regional forums. You would think a metro area of nearly 10 million would yield a mature owners group on s2ki.

Yes, this is another pointless post. I realize that.

I suggest you read the title of the Windy City subforum.

The Windy City

A place to relax and unwind. Off topic section of the UMW.

Or click here - https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/424...he-windy-city/

This is the off topic section.

Because people don't participate. They bitch about what they don't like and then leave.

The club is for everyone. If it's not doing something you think it should, do it. Lead drives, schedule meets, plan events. The more people are involved, the better the club goes.

I don't think that's what he meant, at least I hope not. I figured he was referring to Windy City, which is off topic as you know

The Main UMW forum is pretty dead during winter so hopefully it picks up again soon.

I guess either way I'd like the OP's thoughts, I'm hoping he got the subforums mixed up.

Is the s2000 community fairly active during the warmer months?

The evo scene seems to be dead for the past couple of years

Not as much as it used to be, but it's definitely more active once it warms up.

Seems like many don't use forums anymore and just do the whole Facebook thing. Forums in general have been on the decline from what I can see.

Ten years ago this place was bonkers. It was hard to keep up sometimes.
