4 Piston Racing

Many of the fastest Hondas out there are running 4 Piston cylinder heads and thusly the brand brought a lot of goodies to the 2017 PRI show. There was a 4 Piston Super99 K-series head fitted with a Kinsler ITB kit and a Myers Competition header. Drawing a crowd was a KT1000 2.4-liter K24 setup was fitted with  Ramey Racing/L.A. Sleeve ductile iron sleeves, Wiseco Extreme Duty flat top pistons, BoostLine rods, 4 Piston Pro TSX CNC head and cams, Kinsler intake manifold, and a good sized Precision 7285 bolted to a Speedfactory manifold. What's the result of all that aftermarket goodness put together? 1,200 horsepower making around 50psi of boost.

Honeywell Garrett

Garrett, the maker of all things that go hand-in-hand with turbo goodness, had on display their GTX3076R GEN II in both standard and reverse rotation options. Improved over the previous models these GEN II versions have a compressor wheel aero update that squeezes out over 20% more power.

Garrett intercoolers were also on display to keep every segment of horsepower from wild to insane while performing at high performance. Vehicles from brands such as Roush, AMG, and Saleen have used these intercoolers to keep things running smoothly.

McCleod Racing

McCleod, purveyor of transmission parts, was on hand with a wide range of clutch options for both import and domestic vehicles. The Street Tuner model offers a 25% increase in holding power over an OEM clutch. The Street Tuner, ideal for a street build with bolt-ons, is built with a matched pressure plate that's backed by a steel disc that not only offers higher clamping but an improvement in burst strength.

McCleod has you covered if you have 800hp but need a clutch to handle all that power. The RST has organic facings for a smooth engagement, quality release quantities, and is very compatible with many flywheels. Another addition that will glow golden is that the pedal feel is lighter than stock so that you spend less time stepping in to change gears.

Pro System

Speaking of pedals, Pro System's pedal assembly sets itself apart from the rest by relying on an integrated balance bar that alleviates pressure variations and gives the driver back positive feedback.

Their racing rotor products are all made in-house and come from years upon years of testing and racing. They feature a universal floating system and promise to deliver consistent pedal feel and brake control during your track laps.

Hondata

Hondata has been a longtime collaborator with Honda products and the 10th generation Civic is a platform for many of their products. First off is a FlashPro system that you can plug into a car's OBD II port and be used to make performance adjustments via a laptop. For folks who want to tweak a streetcar, there is a CARB legal version that will get you gains while keeping you perfectly legal.
