Beautiful Suzuka Blue AP2 Checks All the Boxes

Quality Candidate

We spend an inordinate amount of time scouring the web, looking for S2000s for sale. But at the same time, we generally find some of the best cars - the ones we'd add to our own garage - in the S2Ki Marketplace. That includes this very nice 2005 AP2 model, which is a well-maintained gem currently looking for a new home.

Slight Flaw

The Suzuka Blue AP2 has just 56,380 miles on the clock and is up for grabs with a price tag of $24,500. The car is in a rather immaculate condition, with a couple of noted flaws including a blemish on the top cover, but is otherwise about as nice as they come.

Some Upgrades

The seller has done some work to the car during his time of ownership, including adding a new soft top, cold-air kit, a Billman timing chain tensioner, a new clutch, and slave cylinders, and a new Ultima battery. The factory air box was retained and is also being included with the sale.

Little Wear

The exterior and interior appear to be in pretty fantastic condition, and the seller has obviously taken great care of the car over the years. The wear that is obvious is typical, including the driver's side seat bolster, but there's very little of that to speak of.

All the Goodies

The car is in mostly stock condition as well, which is obviously a good thing for collectors, and it comes with all the original documentation, books, window sticker, keys, and other assorted goodies. Even the underside of the car looks pretty immaculate given its age and mileage.

Don't Go Far

It's clear that this AP2 hasn't seen too many if any, inclement weather days while out on the road. Currently, it's just a three-owner car, as the seller purchased it back in 2015. It lived its entire life in the Bay Area of San Francisco before moving to Washington state in 2019.

Refinished

The seller has done quite a bit to the car to make it extra nice, including repainting the bumpers to remove rock chips and resurfacing the wheels to erase curb damage.
