CC Wheels Builds a Crazy Stanced Honda S2000

Opinions vary greatly on stanced cars. But this heavily modified S2000 is built better than most.

Controversial Stance

When it comes to the Honda S2000, like any other car, modifications are bound to draw varied reactions. This is especially true when it comes to stanced cars. Some absolutely love the look, others hate it. And some are quick to point out that it's somewhat pointless on a car built for performance. But hey, we're going to talk about all things S2000 around here. And that includes this heavily stanced AP1 we spotted at Complete Custom Wheels

Make It JDM

The same things that we love about the S2000 also endear it to the JDM market, after all. The high-revving engine, open top configuration, and strong output, to name a few. Thus, it isn't a surprise that longtime JDM fan Tyler Donovan wanted to build one for himself.

Make My Camber Negative

CCW provided the centerpiece for this build, a set of custom-built D110 three-piece forged wheels. They're obviously mounted with some pretty heavy negative camber, which gives this widebody S2000 the finishing touch.

Menacing

Of course, wheels aren't everything. So this S2000 also sports a pretty incredible Gloss Storm Gray paint job that's one of a kind. And that attractive hue covers a full Industry Garage widebody kit that gives this Honda a menacing appearance.

Topping It Off

No proper S2000 build would stop at that, however. So this one has a number of additional aftermarket body components to further enhance the look. They include a Voltex front bumper, Spoon rear diffuser, and a Spoon hardtop.

Perfectly Complimentary

Given the overall look this car's owner was going for, we'd say he made the perfect wheel choice, too. The eleven spoke CCW wheels feature exposed hardware and a deep lip, which perfectly complements the widebody look.

Nicely Contrasted

A host of dark trim gives this S2000 some contrast as well. Things like carbon fiber mirrors, along with the diffusers and rear spoiler, are just enough to break up all that nearly white paint.

Performance Clues

We don't know if the owner bothered to upgrade this S2000's performance, but there are some clues. There's the large titanium exhaust pipe protruding from the rear, for example.

Low as She Goes

Obviously, a great amount of work went into the suspension as well. To get this car as low as it sits, it's very likely that this S2000 is sitting on bags. Heck, if it wasn't, it'd be pretty hard to drive without messing up that nice bodywork.

Attractive Package

An attractive package indeed. And easily one of the nicest stanced S2000s we've ever laid eyes on. Love 'em or hate 'em, it's hard to throw shade at this well-crafted machine, even if you can't stand the look!
