Better Than Stock?

Most of us are acutely aware of what makes the Honda S2000 so special, and that's the way it drives, for the most part. After all, that's precisely the reason most of us have purchased one in our lifetimes, aside from the roadster's incredible sound and handsome looks. Regardless, the right modifications can make the S2000 even better than it already is, as we can clearly see in this recent video from the YouTubers at AutoTopNL.

Forced Induction

As is always the case, AutoTopNL takes this modified S2000 out on the legendary German Autobahn to see just how fast it can go, which is a bit faster than stock thanks to some modifications. It's a follow-up of sorts to a turbocharged S2000 that the same YouTuber took out for a high-speed blast just a couple of months ago, but this time around, he's testing a supercharged build.

Mysterious Upgrades

Details are somewhat scarce in this particular video, but it doesn't seem as if the S2000 has too many other under-hood upgrades save for the blower, though it is reportedly putting out around 420 horsepower. There are a few other things we can see, such as the rear wing and upgraded exhaust, however.

Impressive Speed

Regardless, the modified roadster hits an unrestricted section of the Autobahn to see just how fast it will go, and it does pretty well in that regard, hitting a top speed of 263 kilometers per hour, or 163 miles-per-hour, an impressive figure for certain.

Solid Number

In today's world, some may not be terribly impressed with that result, but as we S2000 fans know, that's a pretty solid number for a jaunt down a public highway in a mildly-modified example (arguably). Aside from that, this particular build is incredibly clean to boot.

Riding Along

Of course, most of us aren't lucky enough to live right near the Autobahn or any other kind of place where we too can participate in these sorts of activities, but at least we can ride along as someone else gets to test out all kinds of cool vehicles like this.
