One of a Kind

Over the years, we've seen our fair share of custom S2000 builds, ranging from downright ugly to pristine perfect, and tasteful. However, one thing we've never seen - at least until now - is an S2000 rat rod, mainly because, well, that treatment is typically reserved for older vehicles. Regardless, that didn't stop an enterprising individual by the name of Pep Urra from doing what no one has seemingly done before.

Custom Chassis

Not too many details regarding this interesting build are available at the moment, but the pictures, well, they speak for themselves. We do know that Urra ditched the car's original chassis in favor of a custom unit build by Village Customs.

In the Weeds

That custom chassis allows the S2000 rat rod to sit directly on the ground, which is pretty much what you'd expect from such a build. Not many body parts from the Honda this build is based on are still present, however, save for part of the body, at least.

Old Fashioned, Yet Modern

Otherwise, one would be hard-pressed to tell that this isn't something from the 1930s, as it sports that classic long and low stances with exposed, fenderless wheels and tires.

Engine Swap

The same goes for the engine that powers this unusual build, as Urra ditched the original inline-four for a V8 of some unknown origin, though it certainly looks cool in the engine bay.

Uncharted Waters

With tires bulging above the body that are wrapped around a set of black wire wheels, this build is certainly surreal to look at, if nothing else. And the fact that it's a fully-functioning, driving vehicle is also a testament to those that put it together because this is one combination that certainly qualifies as uncharted waters.
