A V8-Powered Transformation

The Honda S2000, a revered sports car, has undergone a jaw-dropping transformation. A 2003 model, once housing the famous F20C four-cylinder engine, now boasts a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated LS3 V8 engine sourced from a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This radical modification, performed by Import Muscle, has propelled the car into an entirely new league.

Powerhouse

The heart of this S2000's transformation lies in the swapping in of the 6.2-liter LS3 V8, installed by Import Muscle. The conversion, including a BTR Stage 2 camshaft and a Tick Performance Stage 3 T-56 six-speed manual transmission, elevates the car's performance to astonishing levels—generating a colossal 492 horsepower and 466 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Performance Enhancements

Beyond the engine swap, a host of mechanical enhancements has been meticulously integrated into the S2000. The modifications encompass an upgraded clutch and flywheel kit, reinforced driveshaft, rear axle improvements, and Ohlins coilovers, promising an exhilarating and refined driving experience. The enhanced braking system, featuring StopTech rotors and Project Mu brake pads, ensures precise stopping power to match the car's newfound capabilities.

Subtle Exterior

Visually, this transformed S2000 maintains a mostly stock appearance, concealing its formidable power. However, keen observers might notice the Wedsport TC105X wheels and taillights from an AP2-generation S2000. Despite a few cosmetic alterations and minor rear bumper damage, the car retains its allure.

Available for Enthusiasts

Currently available for purchase at $30,000 in Granada Hills, California, this modified S2000 offers a remarkable blend of power, performance, and exclusivity. With only 2,000 miles on the rebuilt setup, it should theoretically have plenty of oomph to offer its new owner.
