Sublime Low-Mile AP1 Attracts Plenty of Interest at Auction

Another One

We've seen quite the surge in low-mile Honda S2000s hitting the auction block in recent months, and that has also resulted in a flurry of eye-watering hammer prices. The latest example of this phenomenon is this Grand Prix White AP1, which recently hammered for a whopping $48,000 over at Bring a Trailer.

Two-Owner Special

This AP1 was sold by its second owner, who acquired it back in 2017. With just 19k miles on the clock, it's obviously in pristine condition, though there one tiny detail to note - the factory radio was removed and replaced with a Kenwood head unit, though the original was retained and included with the sale.

All the Goods

Otherwise, there aren't too many bones to pick here. This AP1 was sold with a factory hardtop and in mostly stock condition with the window sticker, owner's manuals, manufacturer's literature, three factory keys with two fobs for the alarm system, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.

Little Use

The matching red interior is equally stunning and fitted with S2000-branded floor mats, along with the aforementioned pair of radios and a Clifford alarm system. Amazingly enough, the seller accumulated just 100 miles of the car's 19k miles during their several years of owning the vehicle.

More of the Same

Pop the hood, and there's nothing really to note here other than the fact that the engine bay is also incredibly clean and original. This S2000 comes with full maintenance history, as one might expect by now, and there don't appear to be any issues to note.

Upward Trend

As has been the case lately, this ultra-clean and mostly original S2000 sold for far more than its original MSRP of $32,415. It also continues the upward trend we've seen these cars on in recent months, which doesn't figure to end any time soon judging by recent results.
