Rooftop VIP

We already took you inside the many floors of the 2017 SuperiLL meet, a unique SoCal car show held inside L.A.'s fancy ROW DTLA parking garage. Most of the ten stories in that structure were packed to the brim with incredible rides, including plenty of sweet S2000 builds. But the very best-of-the-best were reserved for the top floor, in what was known as the rooftop VIP.

Amid the gorgeous scenery afforded by an elevated view of Los Angeles were a host of amazing and unique rides. Nothing but Southern California's finest builds populated the entire garage, but the best of that lot were up on the roof level, without a doubt. Among the many notable cars in attendance were 2017 SEMA builds, magazine features, and of course, plenty of outrageous Hondas.

The Night Time Is the Right Time

As cool as the setting and the cars were, the view got even better as the sun went down. It was then that we received a different perspective of all this unique metal under the glow of artificial light. And if you got bored of taking in all of the great cars at SuperiLL, you could simply look up and take in the beauty that is L.A. at night.

Fill 'Er Up

Just how primo was the selection of cars at this year's SuperiLL, you ask? Well, eager attendees backed up what is already apocalyptic traffic beginning early in the morning, hours before the event even started. Once the massive 10-story structure was full, dozens of cars had to be turned away. But that didn't dampen the mood of all those who attended. Not by a long shot!

Still Going Strong

There are plenty of detractors out there who say that the sport compact scene is dying. But after witnessing the amazing turnout at SuperiLL and experiencing the passion of its attendees, that's pretty hard to believe. The quality of these builds just keeps getting better and better, and the enthusiasm surrounding this "little" slice of car culture has never been stronger.
