Looks like a solid product and glad we're getting close to a release date.
I don't know if the letter is going to be by email, snail mail, or just included in the box. However, its the same letter that you see here. There will be detailed instructions on how to trim the windage tray, and there should be a youtube video as well. When you ordered the pan I don't think is going to havea lot of bearing upon when you receive it, as the order period was only 2 weeks long anyway. it is based more upon the options you chose, whether it's coated or not, but other than that I'm sure it will go in the order of who placed the orders first. However, they are trying to get out as quick as they can, believe me!

I have been logging oil pressures for the last couple of years. I have a 2-quart Accusump. Pressure never went below 72 psi on track These were spikes going down that were just before corner apex. Typically it was right before I got back on the throttle. I also logged throttle position.
That's cool. What type of valves are you running in the Accusump? Manual, electric, EPC? What pressure are the valves? If it's the EPC, did you hook it into your data logger so you could see when it was triggered?
It is a 10 to 15 year old electric Accusump. It works sort of like a manual one, but has an electric valve, rather than the manual valve. Back then I don't recall any choice in valves.

Do we know what the thread size is for the temperature tap in the pan? Been thinking of adding a Spa dual gauge this season for oil temp and pressure.

Yeah, that looks like what they use in all of their other Honda Pans. Thanks!

PRODUCTION UPDATE

Here's an update to production and shipping of the pans. Thanks!

"The first batch of pans should be back from plating on Mon, Leak tested again on Tues, Packed up on Weds and Shipped out either Weds or Thurs. There should also be a batch of powder coated pans going to powder coat at some point as well which are much quicker than the plating."

For those guys who'd like Canton to trim their windage tray:

"Dave, Can you have the guys that are interested in getting us to modify them to email me? This way I can have an open dialogue and see what everyones expectations are and so we can figure out the best way to approach the issue."

Contact Jeff at info@cantonracingproducts.com

There is a guy on the board who has about a half dozen of the windage trays. Hopefully he can make a quick and easy deal with Canton to supply the trays so Canton doesn't have to hassle with a core exchange type thing.

Also, remember that this is the last chance to order a oil cooler and/or Accusump from Canton at 25% off. A special deal for those who preordered the pan. PM me for details.

You know I never thought of that. Hmmm. I might just do that today.

I would be interested in a trimmed windage tray to make it a quick, bolt-in application.

According to Canton the the OE tray is not necessary with their anti-slosh baffle in the pan. You can remove the piece and not see any difference in performance. Anyone else thinking of going that route?
