**EVENT** Meet at McKeever's in McLean CANCELLED
UPDATE: After all the date changes, I have to cancel this event. 
The +1 was planning to run the Wilson Bridge Half Marathon this Sun, but it has been moved to Nov 10 (my planned event date) due to the gov't shutdown - GW Parkway is a National Park. I have run out of available dates on my calendar for the rest of 2013. Maybe I can get something together the first of the year.
Y'all...it's MsPerky (Deb). I've not been around much recently, but seeing the posts in Kevin's (NOS8NT) thread got me to thinking it would be nice to have a meet and eat in VA. There is a pub in downtown McLean called McKeever's (Old Dominion Dr) that has been around a long time and is away from the craziness at Tyson's. Sun, Nov 10 is the date. It would be great if some of the long-time members could come along with newer members. There are LOTS of old timers I've not seen in ages and certainly many newer members I've not met!
Date and time: Sun, Nov 10, 4-7 PM. (I had to change the date again because Cale's BBQ is Nov 3. Hope everyone can make the new date.)
Here's the map for those who don't know where it is. It's in a brick building on the right as you leave McLean on Old Dominion going toward Arlington. Just past the McLean Square Shopping Center. Lots of parking on an outdoor, flat lot (for those of you who are lowered -

It might be best to wait until Sept to do this, in view of the drive on the 27th and other summer commitments. So I will tentatively plan on that assuming there is interest.

Yeah, I'm going to check back with everyone in Sept. I think there are too many other things going on right now. Maybe we can get something together then.

Didn't get much interest posted, so haven't followed up. But if peeps want to go, I can certainly set up something. I get the impression many are not posting here anymore but are on Facebook pages. Is that true? If so, they won't see me. I'm not on social media other than S2Ki. Please post (and not just lurk) so I can make a list and get a rough number. I'd like to give a number to the pub so we can reserve an area if possible. Thanks.
