Detailing product for improving stone chips?
My bonnet and wings are peppered with touched-in chips. I'm going to get it sorted properly, but not for a while yet, so in the meantime, I wondered if there's any particular wax or polish etc. that's particularly good for improving their appearance/disguising them?
Bit of a long shot maybe, but no harm in asking, so any recommendations welcome.......

Can't really disguise them, other than by dobbing a blob of touch up into them until the stand proud, then wet and dry them back level, followed by a polish. If you do a good job and take your time, you might find that you don't need to get the professionals in for a while yet.
As above, time spent flattening them down with wet and dry is the best method, a pencil rubber with a small piece of wet and dry always works well for me.
If your just trying to minimise then a glaze like poor boys black hole is basically heavy fillers that get rid of swirling and the white portions of stone chips (the lacquer edge)

I'm a bit heavy handed so others might have had better results, but it found that I either had to leave a bit of the paint around the chip or risk removing what was supposed to be left behind. It's probably ok for the odd chip, but it's noticeable when you've got a lot of them to cover up.
For me, at least, it's not an alternative to a proper repair for multiple chips.

Me on 2 S2k's and two Astons, a fair few of the other Aston owners use it, One guy used it to get rid of a LOT of gravel rash on the front of the rear arch
It really is very good and very hard to get wrong
