Skunk2 Ultra Series Race Intake Manifold
So I have been in the market for a intake manifold on my turbo S in the 700+ hp range. I have done ALOT of research on all the intakes currently on the market and it seems as if the only ones that make great power are VERY expensive IE the kinsler and bmc($2500) Now having alot of friends in the K series game they almost all run the skunk2 race series with adjustable plentum with amazing results, so I would expect similar results from the s2000 spec one. I called skunk2 about a month ago and they couldnt give me any information. I was wondering if anyone has heard any news on this product and what you all think. I really like how you can get custom spacers to make it fit your needs. For me the short 6-7" runners and large 5.5 liter plentum will be perfect for carrying power up to 11,000rpm and 1000hp just like the kinsler. According to S2 the intake should already be released.. :-(

I'm not in your power range but I was trying to wait for this manifold to come out, I ended up buying a full blown intake manifold and love it. The thing that sold me the most is that is has idle air control ports and throttle body placement is near stock.

I'd say go Fullblown if you can't wait, and need the IAC ports...the skunk one i saw proto pics of looked like DBW, but they will prob have both I'm assuming...
I personally think that once the Skunk is out, the whole 'the stock intake is best' thing will nolonger be spoken...plus you can port it easy.

That was my old setup. I guess I should update my signature lol. I am now on a darton sleeved 11.6:1 fully fully built motor and borg warner s367 with dual 044 feeds on a e98/e85 flex fuel system. Just trying to break outside the box. I know I can make wild power retaining alot of stock parts but I want to do something different. So this spring I will be doing some back to back comparisons on my car. It should baseline 700 on e98. Then I will be adding a 4piston pro-s2k ported head and doing a retune, then web cams, and then an intake manifold. So we will have some real data out there about what kind of gains these parts offer.
