Do you know this yellow CR's story? Info on CR JHMAP21278S000233
I'm about to consider this yellow CR (I own a 2000 New Formula Red). I guess this is the only one in Europe since the cars were sold only in US. Some says it was imported from US to Poland where they disassembled the car and then reassembled it and then they brought it to Italy (where I live and where the car is on sale).
Now, before doing anything, I would like to know from you - CR experts - if you know the story of this example?
I asked the dealer via mail if he could take some pics of the bottom of the car but he said that it's difficult for him since he has no elevator. Doesn't this sound strange? (by the way he sent me some extra pics of interiors, exteriors and engine bay)
Thank you in advance if you can tell me anything about this one, cause I seriously want such a rare S2000.

If you can ascertain the VIN (Vehicle Identification number) we might be able to tell you more about the car. It does have some non OEM parts, exhaust, cold air intake and strut brace.

It also appears to be a delete, which means it has no AC/radio. From a driving perspective if you're an S2000 fan you will love it, especially at the limit. The CR definitely has a sense of occasion and a manic nature that every S2000 lover should experience.

They probably disassembled it because the car would not be able to be imported to the country legally. Like importing a JDM car here. Companies will disassemble and ship them in parts to the country to reassemble. Not all that out of the norm for a rare car.
It is a delete, get the VIN! It's one of 20, and we've accounted for what...3 or 4 delete Rio Yellow Pearls?

I too noted it's a "delete" from no labels on the radio interface to the left of the steering wheel. About US$26,000.
I'd pass unless I wanted a race car. Hard top (only). No AC. Etc.

I looked at it last night and I don't believe that is a real ASM bar. It doesn't have the coloration on the bends that would lead me to believe it's a real one. It's one of the more budget friendly bars that run in the $100-200 range.
I'm sure the bar works just fine, I'm only pointing it out so the OP doesn't pay extra due to the chance the bar is worth money.
