Friday night Spring Fling dinner: Pay your own way. Reservation at 8:00 PM.

Please read this entire post. The Group reservation is full at 32.


We have only one reservation for the Friday night Spring Fling dinner.

32 of us (In the first list below) will be eating on the deck at Cooper's Cave under a reservation in my name.

The rest of you can try to get in to the main room or the private room, but there is no reservation.

Please look at the lists below and see which group you are "in". Again, the deck reservation is full. The second list is those people that did not get in. I'm very sorry.

Cooper's Cave is about 10 minutes from the hotel. It has a pretty good all around menu and their own beer. Here is the link:

The reservation is for 8:00 PM

I made a reservation for 8:00PM so that we don't have to leave the reception too early. We will probably leave between 7:30 and 7:45 to allow time to get organized, shoot the breeze in the parking lot and arrive at Coopers by 8:00PM.

A final update on this dinner:

1. When you arrive at Cooper's Cave, tell them you are with the "car club." You do not need to give them my name or be with me to get in. The manager's name is Adrian, so ask for him if you run into any trouble.

2. Our reservation is on the enclosed deck. There will be a party there earlier in the evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm so they should be long gone by the time our group arrives.

3. Due to the size of our party Cooper's Cave will add a 20% gratuity to your check. Please keep this in mind when you are paying.

4. I told Adrian that we will want separate checks rather than one single check and they have agreed. I still recommend bringing cash in case they have some trouble splitting the bill in a fashion that is acceptable to you. Their idea of splitting might be on a per table basis rather than per person. Remember, bring cash.

5. Please remember to leave the hotel on time to arrive at Cooper's a bit before 8:00 PM. Take a look at their web site and make sure you know how to get there. I do not plan to round you all up, announce a departure, or lead a caravan. If one of you are interested in assuming that responsibility, feel free.

Ok Flingers, please see the original post for new details. 13 have signed up and I have room for 7 more in the private room I reserved for us. As I state in the first post, overflow people can probably find a table in the main dining room if you want to eat in the same restaurant, but you will need to make your own arrangements. I'm not sure they take reservations for their main dining room.

 

Ray & I will pass for now, thats a late dinner for us. But if there is room left, we might show up for drinks and conversation, but this way we are not taking up 2 spots that others might use
