New England guys and gals, this is an easy drive for us (YAY). I'm tempted to try going through the Green Mountain national forest in Vermont rather than the Pike. Any New England folks want to convoy??

 

TBD, had similar thoughts regarding route. both thte pike and rt 2 are the pits.

 

Yes, if we leave during the afternoon it should be a nice scenic drive. Of course, if it is raining, we will probably just take the pike.

Jim and I will be coming from south of Chicago, with stops at the Auburn/Cord museum, Baseball & Football hall of fame if anyone wants to join us

Yep. We'll be on the Keuka Wine Trail. Maybe a stop at Dr Konstantin Frank's.

 

We are leaving for Niagara Falls, on Tuesday .. Spending a couple of nights there..then onto Lake George Thursday morn....
