Default Expected power - Novi1000 / 3"

Hi guys,

Before we start I have done a search but the responses vary wildly. I ideally want 400WHP.. is this possible with what I'm planning;

AP1
Novi 1000
3" Pulley
Test pipe
PLM FMIC
AEM 1052U
ACT PP
Fuel will be 98RON from the pump

Also will my standard bosch recirc valve be up to the job?

I know the FMIC will set me back a bit but do you think 400 will be attainable?

Cheers

Curious why Novi 1000 over the Novi 1200? I run the latter with a 4.0 pulley and am around the 400rwhp mark.

Got the kit used from here. I guess I can always upgrade to the 1200 when this one gives in? Yeah I'm aiming for that sort of figure, I bet that's a hoot.

Cool, I've decided to go 2.8" now and it should be tuned by the end of next week. Just put the ACT pressure plate on it ready for the power!

That's decent, what boost? Did you have a fmic?

Unfortunately an fmic robs you of precious boost which will net you lower then a typical after cooled set up. 3" pulley would normally yield 15psi at 8900rpm/400whp. With a typical fmic set up, you will yield about 12psi and 380whp.

Hmm, hopefully I can get back some of the boost loss with the 2.8" pulley then!
