I've seen some aftermarket front fenders with vents molded in. Some have complained about the fenders not fitting well. Has anyone ever cut vents in their OEM front fenders? I'm thinking this could be done like the OEM hood vents that are added (cut slots, attach some black mesh behind the opening). Amateur Photoshop work, vents borrowed from a Ferrari 250 GTO. Would this be possible? Do you think this looks good in an S2000?

 

Why?

If I'm not mistaken, the wheel well liners would block any airflow to the vents, also, I don't think that those vents would release any heat from the engine.

The aftermarket fenders with vents fit right if you buy the authentic ones and not the cheap replicas. The vents above are just going to show the frame which is fairly ugly.
