Default Rim Selection help/input PLEASE

I just bought a 2001 GPW S2000 with red/black interior and the rims are beyond help. I plan to leave the car completely stock... no lowering, coil overs, fender rolls, etc... It will be a daily driver in Las Vegas Nevada and I will be keeping the black soft top since my top is down 95% of the time anyway. I need advice from all you experts in picking 17 or 18 inch rims for function and color choice of black, silver, aluminum, gun metal grey, other, for style. Please help this novice :-)

Also... I was considering Enkei EDR9 rims.. thoughts? Quality? junk?

225/45/17 Front and 255/40/17 rear. I fullu agree just stay witht he stock AP2 wheels. There is very few choices that will fit right. The enkei you posted doesn't come in the right sizes for the S2000.

Are they really that expensive though?

AP2 V3 are the most expensive because of the rarity. AP2 V1 or V2 can usually be had fairly cheap, around $500 for wheels only. Any of the stock AP2 wheels will be your best look at stock height.

Keep an eye on your local Craigslist. Might even be worth a trip to SoCal or AZ.

Any rims that look the same as the AP2 V3 rims and the same size?

No. And they are around $1000 without tires. That's not really expensive for wheels

Wife wasnt keen on me getting the car
