Default KW Variant 3 Settings?

Hi everybody

I just ordered a set of KW Variant 3 coilovers and was wondering what you believe is a good setup for what will be a majority of street driving and occasional track?

I just want a setup to potentially neutralize the rear end... Post your setups here!

why don't you have a different setup for the street and track? though to be honest the bump setting is a bit of a pain to change..

For the road..I use

bump 1.5 all round
rebound 1.5 front
rear 2.5 rear

KW recommended to me for track use:

bump 0.75 all round
rebound 0.75 front
rebound 1.5 rear

this was great for dry/high speed corners..crests/compressions.. but not OK for the wet and or flat slow corners where the car would understeer considerably despite 215 front tyres.

So Kobe... You have the rear end setup softer than the front right?

yes the rebound is softer in the rear..

by the way, I guess your alignment settings and tyre choice will interact with this - so copy/paste wouldn't necessarily work out.

I'm a very lazy person, so track and street setups are the same.

IIRC.
bump 0.5 all round
rebound 0.5 front
rear 1.0 rear

Alignment spec:
front camber -1.75
rear camber -2.5
rear toe in 1/16

Tires:
F:235/40/17
R:255/40/17
ToyoRA1

I am pretty happy with this setup now, only thing I do adjust is rear rebound, depending on how tail happy the car is. Hope this help.

obviously you don't have speed bumps in your area

even with softer setting than yours.. it's painful going over these things..

I need to find my notes, I usually base line the rebound and dial it in. to around .5 to 1 front and 1. 1.5 rear.

.75 on the bump
