Default Dash lights flickering

Hi all,

I have an MY2007 with a tad over 37,000 miles one it. Recently i noticed that the dash lights are flickering at a high rate when i'm sitting at idle. It's barely noticeable, but it's enough to irritate me when i'm looking at the dash. Once i start giving the car some gas though, the lights are steady.

Anyone have an idea what may be causing this? I have a few theories, but i'd like to see what other ppl think.

Thanks!

I would try another alternator. Sometimes the regulator goes weak.

It's Alternator. Went through several batteries go bad and the alternator tested twice; finally I replaced it with a used one from an 07 w/ 7k miles and problem was solved.

there was a same thread couple weeks ago.... Technically its not the alternator but the rectifier. The diodes have gone bad hence the flickering. Just replacing the rectifier will make it go away. You can get one from majestic honda for 150 and install it in about 2 hrs. i also used the service manual step by step because it was the first time i did this.
