Default Just a "FYI"

So, just got done working on my 3rd s2000. I have always loved the Ce28n (my favorite wheel for the S2000 even though its played out) although I've always hated the center cap options. The only center cap I personally like on the wheel is the type A FLAT center cap. So on my 1st S2000 I had ce28ns (did not use center cap) 2nd S2000 have Re30 with slightly more aggressive offset which allowed for flat center caps, and recently purchased my 3rd s2000 which ironically came with standard offset ce28ns. I did not want to purchase new wheels, but wanted the flat center caps again.

So I purchased flat type center caps, determined to modify either the center cap of the axle to make it fit.....

Long story short the flat type center caps fit perfectly WITHOUT any modifications.

Just wanted to let you guys know, b/c for 7 years everyone has told me that this is impossible.....

here are some pics!!!!

yes, b/c it reflects on how much room you have between the center cap (or the wheel opening) and the axle

Make sure your axle nut is torqued properly to make sure your axle is seated properly.

I've personally tried fitting flat caps on the rear wheels with the standard offsets.

Just keep checking the caps every so often to make sure they haven't popped off. Glad to see you in another S2K. See you at the Dragon this year, right?

How come and you thought otherwise? Although I've got spacers on the front, the flat center caps fit on stock offsets with no problems. I've seen this also on my friends' stock S2000s.

Here are mine by the way.
