Default Its happened! Seized caliper!

Kinda thought it wouldn't happen on mine but it has, my passenger front caliper has seized so badly the disc went blue!! God damn it.

It actually happened for the first time on friday which i then greased up the sliding pins etc but obviously wasn't enough to stop it.

They say things come in 3's - wonder who the third person is!?!?

Started shuddering on a Manchester - Doncaster run, by the time I arrived the offending wheel was covered in brake dust and smoke was puthering out, oh dear.

Got in touch with Rob at Garage R who opened up specially (today, Sunday) and took it in. So a big thanks for helpin me out and for the load of the silver bullet - I'd forgotten what it's like to have to change down to get up hills!

So another recommendation for those boys.

cheapest i could find them was £120 delivered each for the rears, and about £80 for the front - local garage charges around £40 to fit !

These are the ones i am looking at getting.

Only the passenger side is sezied but might as well change both as the drivers side will no doubt seize at a latrer date.

I'll be fitting them myself so that'll save a few quid.

Got a reply from the ebay guy, £30 refund on the old calipers so it means a pair of new calipers for £139.99.

US - what condition are yours in?
