Default not an s2k but still f20c! what do ya think?

got the f20c motor, box, diff, steering, clocks and modded prop into my mnr chassis and it fits under the bonnet (just) with no mods! what do you guys think it will go like? and a couple of q's. the car i a fully caged lotus 7 style kit car, discs all round, prm cai intake,4-1 silencer, 600kg's,s2k diff, clocks, switch gear and steeing. 13" caterham r500 wheels

1; steering arm runs tight to side of motor meaning there is only just enough room to get the oil filter in,wihout the standard oil cooler. do i need an oil cooler with this motor as its not going to be under tha same load as an 's' its only 600kg's and air flow is high due to completely open engine bay (i will put a large scoop in bonnet)

2; i am running 205/60/13 yoko a048's with standard diff. how will this affect gearing, and top speed?

3; where is s2k speed sensor/pickup as i will need to alter the clocks to compensate for the 13's? is there an easy way to do this?

4;how do i upload pics for you to view? i have a few on my pc but am struggling to upload!

I think it'll be really slow.

Speed sensor is in the gearbox, and JDMs and people with different final drives use a speed converter chip between that and the clocks. So you need to work out the difference between 205/60/13 and 245/40/17 and find an appropriate converter. Obviously you're going to have lower gearing and lower top speed.

Please upload some pics.

That chassis wouldn't look out of place in a game of Kerplunk

use this web site to work out rolling radius

may be worth fitting an oil cooler with an small accusump and remote oil filter. high cornering speeds may cause oil surgewith a standard sump.

accusump link (just so you can see what they are there will be other sellers) . these will even give you oil pressure before you start the engine.

bozwell, why do i need an accusump when the standard road car does not? this will be a road only car and not a track car so cant imagine oil surge being a major problem! do they do a sump baffle plate fir the standard sump?
