Default Oil Filter for Greddy Turbo Kit?

Hey you guys,

I'm trying to get an oil filter for this kit and the Greddy manual says it uses the OX-02 Oil Filter, but there is no OX-02 at any dealer. I see QX-02 but it says it's for a Toyota JZ engine.

---------------
GReddy Oil Filter, Toyota 1JZ-2JZ-1G
GReddy 13901102 - 3/4-16UNF, Dia. 74mm, H85mm (QX-02)
---------------

I was also thinking to use the magnetic oil filter instead of the regular one, it's only a few bucks more.

Would I then use:
GReddy Magnetic Oil Filter, Toyota 1JZ-2JZ-1G
GReddy 13901202 - 3/4-16UNF, Dia. 76mm, H85mm Magnetic (SX-02)

????
Using this website to look up the list of filters, http://www.statracing.com/buy/greddy...oil-filter.asp
Greddy's website doesn't have a list of oil filters >.<

Thanks you guys

No, as far as I know, that is fine. A lot of people have used this setup. I saw one complain that the thread is really short for the OEM filter and came off on the driver, but that is the only time I've ever heard of any issue. My car currently has the OEM Filter, no problems.

I'd like to go with the Greddy filter though with the magnetic catch just cause I feel like it may help protect my engine in the long term, but I don't know if this is just a marketing gimmick.

I'm prety sure I can't fit an OEM filter on mine. I wonder if they changed the design at some point.

I use Amsoil EAO filters, but the regular Honda s2000 filter is perfectly fine, just make sure it's an S2000 filter and not any other honda. The s2000 filter has more flow holes.

I use OEM Honda "PCX" filters only. Why? Because the Atlanta S2000 club won't let us on the track without it. The claim is that other filters can't flow enough oil at high RPM and will eventually leak / fail / something.

I don't know if it's true, but I can tell you that my Greddy filter is staying in the box.

My Amsoil flows as much if not more than the Honda OEM. Not saying that the Honda filter is insufficient, but what they said is stupid. However, I understand why they are doing it..I guess they don't want people running the cheaper filters like FRAM or something.

I had to go with a 2JZ supra filter on mine, as the oem honda filter would fit, but would only thread onto the adapter about 1-1/2 threads.
