Default 63K Service

I was just looking at the service schedule as my car is due its 6 year (63K)service.

She has only done 1500 miles since last year (I know, it's a crime!) and done a total of 50,000 miles.

One the schedule it says "Replace Fuel Filter (Now in tank)", is this something anyone has done?

Thanks for your comments

Pain in the arse to do and not really that necessary. Just a tea strainer in the tank.

Yep we did mine and apart from a slight tint of orange it was clean as a wistle, like rob says just like a tea bag, and mine had been on for 8 years at the time too, just leave it

it's reall pain in the ass to replace.
and a lot of interior parts can get scratched in the process.

for some regions in the world Honda's service manual doesn't require to replace it atl all.
only in cases when fuel pressure drops.

so i wouldn't do it.

That is the pump inlet filter. There is an inline filter in the fuel pump housing, after the fuel pump.
