They are in production now so looks like 2-3 weeks before they will be shipping out.

I fixed mine by replacing the end links and machining the ends of the bar. Also make sure the bar moves freely in the bushings. If it doesn't you may need to trim the bushing.

I've actually already purchased them with them assumption that the endlinks that come with this bar will fail. To bad its going to take so long to get the bars...I have an Autox 4/23 I was really hoping to get to try it out at. Oh well, at least they should definitely be here for the 5/21 - 22 autox's

I would hope that the endlinks that come with these new bars would be fine and not need an "upgrade" right out of the box...

I was about to buy one but came across a used one! Hope those end links will be legit too...

Also make sure the bar moves freely in the bushings. If it doesn't you may need to trim the bushing.

How freely should the bar move? I was up under mine last night double checking everything (because the clunking had gotten so bad I was starting to fear the whole bar was loose) and when I disconnected both end links I could move the bar but it took moderate effort. If both links are removed should the bar rotate down under it's own weight or should it take minimal or moderate effort?

I've had my bar for about a year now and am still running on the endlinks that came with it. I DD the car and do about 10-15 autocrosses a year. They started making noise after about a month and have only gotten worse. I'm in the process of getting replacements now. If you don't want to deal with the noise, the McMaster Carr links for about $60 are a very good deal. Also, even with the additional cost of the McMaster Carr endlinks this bar is still a huge bargain and has transformed the handling of my 03 more than anything else I have done so far.

In my experience it depends on the course. I am running an AP1 on street tires and on faster autocross courses like on airport runways, etc. full stiff is the way to go. On smaller, tighter courses, I have found the middle setting provides a lot more grip than stock while still allowing me to rotate the car with trail braking, etc.

I recently set it to full soft just for daily driving and can't see where that setting would be a benefit at all for autocross. I'm sure others with more experience than I will chime in with some useful input as well.

The soft setting should be fine.
