2011 BMWMOFO "Motoring for a Cause" Charity Car Show - 6/25/11 @ Pops
The BMW Motorsports of Oklahoma auto club, in conjunction with Pops, is hosting their annual “Motoring for a Cause” Charity Car Show on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Pops in Arcadia, OK. As a reputable car club within our community, they ask for our support by participating in their car show. However, before explaining how we can support their event, an explanation of why they are doing this is needed.
The car club’s largest philanthropic event is their annual charity car show. They have successfully hosted these charity events since 2005 and have helped raise money for organizations such as the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization and The Little Light House in Tulsa, among others. This year their chosen charity is “The Mended Little Hearts” organization. This service organization, which has directly served one of their club members, serves the Oklahoma City metro and beyond by providing assistance, comfort, and education to parents with children that are born with heart defects; specifically children whose symptoms are not known until shortly after birth.
How can we help support and/or sponsor this show? This can be accomplished by the following ways:

Registration begins at 9am
Show is from 10am to 5pm
Awards Ceremony: tentatively set for 2:30pm
Vehicle Show Fee: $20.00 per vehicle
Show-n-Shine Fee (not judged): $10.00 per vehicle
Spectators: FREE
Registration forms will be available at the check-in desk the day of the show. Pre-registration forms will be available online soon!
CLASSES:
Classes will be determined based upon preregistration forms turned and as well as entrants the day of the show. Each class will have "Best in Class" and "Runner Up" awards.
There will also be a "Best in Class Award" as well as a "Best Paint Award." Depending on interest, they may have a "Best Painters Tape Award" as well.
SILENT AUCTION:
They will also be having a silent auction in addition to the show to help raise funds for the charity. Items will vary in type and value and will range anywhere from T-Shirts to a 1-Night Stay @ the Sheraton MWC.
So please bring your check books because its all for charity!
FAMILY ACTIVITIES:
As this show's beneficiary is a family organization, we will be having several stations full of activities for the kids. Please bring your families and lawn chairs and participate with us throughout the day!

- Entering vehicles from our car club into the car show
- Providing Donated Items and/or Gift Certificates to be presented as prizes
- Sponsoring the Cost of a specific Trophy/Award (i.e. Best Paint, Best in Show, etc.)
- Monetary donations to be used as direct donations to the show benefactor
