"Most turbo cams" aren't very good from what I've seen. Unless they have released so,something with proven gains. Stick with a nice n/a or stock cams.

stock ftw. dont even fuss with combos of ap1/ap2 and cam gears etc. stock ones make serious power stock setup.

Ive been working with Web Camshafts on some pretty sick big turbo cams. The thing with cams on these engines is theyre big out the box. I'm doing a test on their cams compared to stock ap1 on my car. It will be covered by Honda Tuning magazine and aswell a full in detail installation, degreeing in the camshafts on my page which is www.facebook.com/sheepeybuilt. The gains will be very well, I assure you of that.

Thumbs up to Web, I've seen some of there stuff and the results. One of the few I've actually seen make good power over oem.

Why not to use good NA cams with a better lift/duration (like toda spec a or b) and reduce overlap with adjustable cam gears? I'm going this route soon and don't see how I can loose power with them, only downside should be slightly higher idle if using spec b or spec c toda cams. They are quite expensive though.

Well aren't those cam gears like 800 dollars? Plus the cam? So That's where the downfall is. Web has done the testing with changing the lobe centerlines at the cam to reduce overlap. So you wont have to buy adjustable cam gears.

brian crower turbo cams also have reduced overlap but they are not working for everyone (to say at least) cause every engine/setup is different, I would buy just the cam gears if you have to stay on budget and ap1 intake cam
