I've noticed that the left side of my dash, where the radio controls are, is a little duller than the other side, where the hvac controls are. Is that normal? Also my MUTE button no longer illuminates at night. Now, is it difficult to pull the dash to change the mute bulb? If I do, is it worth to replace all of them? Any suggestions are welcomed! Thank you.

 

it's not too bad, but i can deffinately see the stock stearing wheel making it more difficult. Mine was a little tricky even with the quick release wheel. You can use the directions from qube engineering, that's what i used. Bulbs are very easy to change once removed

Radio controls are supposed to be a lot dimmer than HVAC - it is a "feature". Does Mute illuminate during the day ?

Honda spec'd dimmer light bulbs on the audio control side -I think it is supposed to be less distracting at night - since secondary audio controls are not considered that important.

Not sure if the "mute" light is a bulb - I thought it was an LED...

 

It has a bulb to illuminate it at night and another to illuminate green when u press it. I might attempt to change it.. The directions don't look to hard ...
