I wish I could do this all over again one day

Glad you had a safe(ish) couple of days mate, and the weather was kind.

Thnaks for posting - did you secure any BAT photos too this trip?

There was a new yellorenno there, going round pretty well.

Just Do It.

Haven't bought the BatPics and I don't think they will be up for a couple of days yet - Zandvoort tomorrow for the BaT team.

I wish I could have gone again this year, but it came at exactly the worst time for work. Glad to hear you weren't Billy no mates for the whole time though. ;-) What happened to MB and the Exiges?

Eau Rouge is easy to do flat. You just need to do La Source dead slow, then change in to sixth gear. If anything you'll then struggle to make it up the hill with your foot flat on the floor.

Here's a video from the morning, pre-instruction - this time with proper data.

Looking much better Si

Don't know much about those tyres, but not being R rated i'd guess you have improved by a fair bit of time in comparison to R888. How come you didn't use the R888?

You're making up good time in the fast stuff before the Bus Stop. I take Pouhon a bit different IIRC.

I wouldn't bother with any more instruction at Spa though, you must have had a fair bit on Spa and you have the lines, you just need to keep pushing now!

They are Bridgestone's new road tyres, so not as grippy as the R888s, so I've definitely improved significantly. A good part of that was down to the afternoon I spent with Ed Moore of Motorsport-Events which gave me a lot more confidence in the car, especially nearer the limit. Well worth the money spent as I was a 3-4 seconds quicker than previous years even before my instructor session which picked me up another 2-3 seconds.

Pouhon is a tricky one, what I'm supposed to do is take a wider line for the first part, with a straightening of the wheel when at the halfway outside point, then a bit more lock along with a floored throttle for the second part - doesn't always work that way though!
