Default Cody Red's build thread. Rio AP2 for track!

Hey gang,

After about 3.5 years of ownership I think it's about time I make a build thread. Though, I have always wanted to create one ever since I obtained the vehicle, I am a rather lazy person. That laziness reflects on my effort to shoot photos constantly.

I daily drove this car up until April of '11 and it is now my secondary/weekend warrior. I'm sure I'm going to get some hate about any decals I have on my car. But, quite honestly decals are a love/hate thing for me - especially since I love clean cars as much as I love race cars. As of lately, I've been getting the itch to completely wipe the S of every decal but yet again, laziness strikes again So, save yourself from posting if you're just going to bitch about any decals I've placed on my car as it's not seen on the road that often...

Although I do sometimes drive fast in public, I do not street race. This car is primarily focused for track weekends - no shows or anything.

Got a T1R suede shift boot that I had restitched in yellow, added a Mugen 5spd shift knob, OGMade shift extender, and wrapped up the silver on the center console (I now have a CR door).

Traded the Advans for some SSR Type-C's that were painted white. Had them powdercoated and hot damn she looked hot!

thanks guys!

Here are some more photos. During the time between the first photo and ones thereafter, these mods were applied: exedium bump steer kit, pwjdm front rotors, pwjdm race canards, APR front splitter, Mugen thermostat& fan switch, T1R radiator hoses, camber ball joints, exhaust, wheels, and added some color

here are where more decals come into play! in which most might actually come off this weekend. really I don't want to ditch my race group's logo, but I know it'll look clean without it.

Kind of a random shot I found. I saw that another Rio had this going on too, decided to post mine. Been slowly adding on for the last couple years.
