Default ***SUGGESTED DRIVES IN ARIZONA***

Please PM me with opinions, thoughts, criticisms, and ideas for more drives etc!!!

I am trying to include maps, directions, gas stops, and food.

Mileage depends on your location in AZ and how far away from the meet's start point you live. Time is also an estimate and does not include any stops. All mileage and time is generated from google maps and the posted speed limits of the roads.

What are the drives like and what is expected?

This is what we want to avoid!!

Looking For More Drives

I have generally focused on drives that start/end in Phoenix and I am working to add information that is centric to Tucson as well. There are a lot of other roads in the state though that are worth mentioning.

If you don't see a drive you want to do, or are curious what other good roads exist in AZ, then check this link out. It is a motorcycle page, but I think the S2000 is about as close to a motorcycle as you can get and keep 4 wheels and doors.

Great start, Adam! Wow, I've been hunting this stuff for a few years and have made some of these drives in family vehicles, including minivans, so I am now anxious and eagerly awaiting a chance to do them in the S. Great work so far. This will go far and last a long time.

Thanks Mark. I always thought AZ needed something like this.

Just added the Flagstaff drive.

Got southern Arizona (Tuscon area) drives in the work, as well as some site seeing trips.

Even drives to Kitt Peak, Mt Lemmon could be 1 day trips from Phoenix, and especially Tucson. There are some roads south of Tucson that could be a long one day or two day ride from Phoenix. This is great information and terrific layout. It is obvious that you, Roger and others? are putting in a lot of work for this and I appreciate that.

Adam, sent you some information about the Kitt Peak drive. If that will work for you let me know and I'll try to get one put together for Lemmon and Arivaca.

Thanks Ira.

Got it Nate, thank you. I will get started on the info you sent.

Hwy 88 info posted. Very basic because its a short local drive.

I also updated all the current drives with mileage and drive time estimates posted next to the title of each drive for quick reference.

Also posted "The Pace" which features a crashed S2000 from a wet Wake the Dragon event...
