Welcome to the first drive of the year! This drive will have us climbing twists as we make our way through the Gorge and then we will hit some back roads on the way east, ending up in The Dalles for lunch. The afternoon brings us up over Mt. Hood for a photo-op with the mountain before we head back into Portland.
SATURDAY, May 19 – 5-3/4 Driving Hours & 245 Miles
We will make our departure from east Portland and, after a short stint on I-84, we will exit to enjoy the historic scenic highway.

We will head up to Crown Point and the Gorge overlook.

We will make our way down the Gorge, crossing into Washington at the Bridge of the Gods.

Hwy. 14 will take us through some more twisties through Klickitat

At Lyle we will start our loop up over the plateau and the great climbing twisties on the Glenwood-Goldendale Highway.

Heading down from Goldendale, we will cross back into Oregon near The Dalles.

Everyone will be on their own to get lunch before we head toward Mt Hood for our photo-op, then it is up to Government Camp for a stop.

Note:This is the Oregon S2000 Owners Forum. As such, our drives are exclusively for S2000s and their owners in Oregon and S.W. Washington.
