There doesn't appear to be a meeting anywhere in North Yorkshire. Is anyone interested in getting going, initially, with an evening meeting for a drink and a talk?

I'd be happy to set up the first one where we could explore all possibilities.

Sounds a good idea I would be happy to come along. Used to go to the meets at Garage R in Barnsley and miss those meetings. I am in Leeds, Harrogate would suit me better. Would still be interested to have a chat even if theres not much response.

 

I live in York. Don't pick my car up for a couple of weeks. But interested.

 

Ok. How would 'The Bridge Inn' at Walshford suit? It's on the old part of the A1 (now by passed) just North of Wetherby. Nice bar and very good parking. Grub available if anyone would like to eat. If this is OK for everyone can you suggest which day of the week would suit best. I can do any evening. We can fix up an evening when Gasgas has got his car.

 

I'd try and get up from Leeds, I live near the so anywhere north of the city is good.

 

I reckon a nice evening meet would be good, now evenings are getting nicer.

The idea is to meet for a 'social' - not thinking of a 'convoy drive' yet though this may be possible if there's interest. Long way to come, from Stockport, for a drink and a chat but go for it if it's ok for you. Waiting to hear if the proposed venue is any good for other people (see my earlier post).

Works out about a 2 hour drive so I'll probably give that a miss unless some top-down convoy action is on the cards
