So after watching a few TCT noise videos, I figured mine does not sound like that but did find others which mine sounds like. So here are the vids:

Best way to vid a bad tct is with the hood closed. It is very distinct and can be heard coming down the street as the car returns to idle.

 

Yeah see mine sounds like the other video. Apparently it was his TCT, he does have a before and after vid.

 

I had the same noise that wasn't a full blown TCT noise just like yours. I heard it first in a underground parking garage. I don't track the car or really even drive it all that hard a lot of the time.

At 80k I decided to get a Billman TCT because I knew I was going to replace it at some point anyway. Solved my problem 100%

 

I listened to both vids.

It is the internet so nothing is positive (except for dwights vid, it is unmistakeable) but in the second vid I do think I hear some TCT noise there at 59 seconds and going on at least 10 sec or so.

 

You can hear mine from :12-14 the best but its there. Has a diesely sound to it. Im 98% sure its the TCT because the one I sent you Billm, sounded the same than once I drilled it, it sounded like Dwights video. So it changed
