Hi everyone,

About 2 months ago my car started to do a constant chirping noise. When I warmed it up first thing in the morning the noise isn't there. After driving it for a bit, when I come to a stop or parked the car this constant chirping noise would appear. It's louder from inside the car.

Here's the video of it. Anyone heard of this noise before? I searched around but haven't found an answer yet and it doesn't sound like a squeaking noise you'd get from a belt or pulley.

Sounds like a freaking cricket in there!

 

TCT (timing chain tensioner) ?

 

Sounds like a bearing on one of the pulleys to me. Have you removed the belt and checked them?
