Default How to install BC cam n.a

Hi guys

Have just purchased a Brian crower stage 2 cam N.A for my 2003 AP1. Im from Australia and no one has experience with the brand BC.
My quuestion is do I need springs and retainers? I keep reading forums explaining BC is just a straight bolt on to get 13hp straight up
and that springs and retainers are a good idea but not a must? Any thoughts, has anyone got experience installing these cams.

Much Appreciated

Russ

I would upgrade your springs and retainers first, the ap1 retainers have been proven to be weaker than ap2s. Install the same as stock cams, there's a DIY in the under the hood forum

You don't need the head removed to install springs

Almost everything is made in Taiwan or China nowadays. All Apple products, for instance. It is still good quality product, though.

Not when products are outsource for cheap material, cheap labor, and made by a person(s) who aren't qualified to carry out a quality job.
It's sad when a American based company outsources there product(s) and try's to pass it as High quality American build products, if that's
the case then Crower Sr must be ashamed
I also heard that skunk2 products are being made oversea.... I wouldn't want to compromise reliability and the good craftmanship Honda did with there oem
cams just to yield me 10-15 whp and not meet or surpass Honda's OE standards...... I'm not trying to bash the op but I just want to get a solid answer wether
bc cams are made in the us or oversea? I'm hoping for quality and longevity on these cams
