The first meet (Thursday March 15th) went very well with four cars and ten people (I'll leave everyone to work out the maths and decide how we did this!) The only 'glitch' was that the Bridge Inn was hosting the Prison Officer of the Year (POOTY) awards and, until they went into dinner at 7.30pm, we couldn't get near the bar. After 7.30 we virtually had it to ourselves. The writer promises to be more diligent in his organising next time.

We agreed to keep the meet going at the venue (Bridge Inn, Walshford near Wetherby) on an "every other month" basis and review as required by the members. So, the next meeting will be Thursday May 17th. As before, 7.00pm onwards, Bridge Inn, Walshford ( www.thebridgewetherby.co.uk ). We agreed, also, that we'd arrange some Sunday outings so watch this space.

Hello (again) to all who attended last week (MTDNBR, lifecrisis and berlinabob and their ladies) good to meet you all. Hope to see you again in May.

I should be up for this - my last Surrey meet will be April so this'll give me something to look forward to.

 

You moving oop north Dan? Will be good to get more active members up there - and get a regular local meet going - good way to meet new people if you're moving up there

Sold our house (subject to it not going tits up) & will be North bound sometime after Easter.

Just chucked this in to Google maps & did the get directions, will only be about 20 mins for me & that's with adhering to the speed limits (like I always do ).
