Default Totaled?

Just got cut off... locked up the brakes but still plowed into this minivan going about 45. Figure both airbags, hood, bumper/bumper cover, headlight, wheel well...gotta be totaled right?

Funny thing... I've been trying to figure out the cause of the rough idle in this car for months. I cleaned the IAC, did a map whack, and reset the ecu this morning and was only driving it to see if that fixed the problem. It was fixed, and running better than ever.

Thanks guys, I'm ok aside from some bumps and bruises.

And yeah I was going straight and that van tried to make a left turn right into me, she pulled straight into oncoming traffic.

I knew I was going to wreck, but didn't expect it to be much of a collision. 45 mph doesn't feel that fast until you come to a dead stop in a half second. It was actually pretty violent inside of the car.

Will insurance cover my smashed ray bans?

45 is actually a pretty good speed to be moving at...i was in a car that hit another car going 45 and it hurt, bad...as far as the sunglasses go, it never hurts to try

If it was an AP2 I'd say not Totaled, but AP1...Yeah that's probably a write off. With you not at fault insurance should cover ANYTHING damaged by the accident that was involved including personal property inside the car.

Really sorry this happened to you man. Car looked really clean, especially the softtop (looks brand new). How do you not strangle the idiot driver? I'd be fuming.

Wow man this sucks. Good luck with your situation. Plans on finding another one if this one is totaled?
