Hey all,

I have a Brand new JDP carbon fiber diffuser in a 2x2 weave that is for sale. The catch is it has a slight crack (see pics) and will not come with mounting hardware or the under body piece. It still has mounting tape and has not been installed ever. It was damaged in shipment and a claim was filed with UPS so I received a new one from JDP. The crack will not be noticed after it is installed and the diffuser is not deformed in any way from the crack.

I placed my order for this diffuser back in February and just got this all sorted so pass up the wait and save a few bucks by buying mine for $500 OBO. I will also consider trades (cooling plate, comptech exhaust, header possibly, unique things). I do not want to ship which is why I am posting in Houston. I will however meet you somewhere within the beltway since I am in central Houston. Please PM or post here if interested. I am going to try and be at the go-kart track meet this Saturday and will bring the diffuser if people want to check it out.

Did you make that crack or was it like that out of the box? wanna take a step back and take a picture of the whole thing? lol

 

The crack was straight out of the box. As stated it happened during shipping. Will add more pics tomorrow.

 

Here are more pics. I tried circling the cracked area in red with paintbrush but the line is very thin.

 

You can barley tell. It still looks good. I don't think you can see the crack that much once installed.

 

Are you sure that's 2x2 rather 1x1? I place a deposit last month so mine should be shipping soon...

 

 

good for you with ups, they have screwed me too many times. got a mugen intake that was cracked and they refused to replace it. how hard to fit this on an ap1?

 

Actually JDP Engineering took care of it all. They dealt with UPS and just asked me for pictures. I sent them pictures and they sent a new diffuser. (I'm not even sure if UPS has reimbursed them yet to be honest). John at JDP was very helpful.

You will need an AP2 bumper to fit this diffuser.
