Weekend Tour of Arizona's best roads

That sounds like an awesome weekend! I'm a little jealous.
There is a 80 mile stretch between Clifton and Hannagan Meadow with no gas. I get gas in Safford at the Chevron, right at intersection of 70/191.
Clifton historic train station is kind of cool. It's a good spot to use the restroom, put on gloves, mount the go-pro, etc before the real fun begins. Bear Wallow Café in Alpine is decent if you want that small town diner experience.

Just got back! A great trip, really just what I wanted, except someone forgot to tell me your state was on broil.
I amended the trip, but went from Blythe on the border to Prescott and followed Fokker's route, crashed in Phoenix then headed to Mendoci then the 191 and ended up outside of Flagstaff. Woke up and headed home.
The drive from Blythe up the 89 was amazing. My favorite stretch was on the 60 out of Phoenix. I went north from Globe, and WOW. Right around mile marker 277 there is a set of high speed sweepers, left right and left that brought me to a moment of zen.
The 191.... just go drive it. Sheer drama, from the start literally driving through an active open pit mine (I was chasing a Lotux Exige, light grey with yellow stripe, felt like James Bond chasing a bad guy in a movie shoot) to the empty, empty road up.
I shall now sleep, thanks Arizona for a fun weekend!
P.S. I only saw one S2000, a Yellow one on Saturday up in the mountains. Flew the V for Victory.

Glad to hear you had a good time.
Someone needed to tell you this state was hot in the summer??? lol. Actually, the weather has been fairly nice compared to last month.
I have been in love with the roads out here since moving here a few months back. So much better than the boring roads of FL that I have been driving for the last decade.
