I thought I would put the money to better use so I sold it to Jordan from Hamilton, I liked it but it really wasn't that useful to me. I used the funds towards the purchase of some other part.

We added a new stable mate to the clan this week, so the S2000 build definitely needs to end. This seems like a great time to do it, and just enjoy the fruits of my labour on the S. Storage season is approaching soon so it may get a few more drives before being put away this season.

Thanks Emil.

We got the Civic for my wife and son to drive, so the auto tranny was preferred and you need it to get all of the Honda Sensing technologies which I felt were important. My wife insisted on the blue colour and a coupe, the only thing I wanted outside of that was the paddle shifters, so that pretty much shoe-horned us into a Coupe CVT 1.5 L turbo Touring level Civic. I expected to hate the CVT tranny and I wasn't expecting much from the 1.5 L motor, I actually approached the purchase with the intention of the getting the 2.0 L naturally aspirated motor.

I have to say that I absolutely love the powertrain combination, it works really well and the paddle shifters give the CVT tranny a nice feel that simulates typically shifting. I've driven CVT trannies before and absolutely hatted those ones, but this one from Honda works really well. I've seen some recent videos on the Hondata site of this car easily out-running last year's Si 2.4L 6-speed model. The redline is only 6500 rpms, but it has a lot of mid-range power, the double torque peak is 1700-5000 rpms so it works very well. I was quite surprised.

I like the paddle shifters, it makes the CVT feel like it's actually shifting gears.

I was surprised to see some mods already out, Hondata has a reflash for altered boost , some intakes and exhausts are rolling out. I think the three mods could add 40 hp to this car, but I don't want to get into another build if I can help it.
