Yes. I wanted to avoid it, especially with dealers being told to void powertrain warranties for catch can use, but they leave me no choice. I will remove it if necessary. The only line you have to cut to install the catchcan can be purchased as a duplicate for under $100. Maybe it isn't necessary on the Stingrays with no blower, but on the Z, there are literally dozens of photos of the blower covered in oil film.

Sold my 03 S2K last week after owning it 13 years.

Went with a '17 Z51 instead of the GS.

Still a great ride.

Nice! I had a 17 GS with z07 package for 2 weeks for a magazine review and I absolutely loved it.
$59k is a fair price I believe.

Dilemma: buy an AP2 and wait while the price of used GS goes down or just be stupid and buy one?

dude, nice driving! Love the power oversteer! What group was that? Chin, Edge, PCA? Let me know next time you're hitting COTA and I'll try to meet you out there. Looks like you're having a blast. My GT4 is fun on the track but it will never replace my ZR1. There is something about big V8 power with good handling on the track(I.e. corvette) especially one like COTA with two long straights.
