Default ALMS Northeast GP

This was in CT on Saturday. Winning list went Audi R10 (Audi NA), Porsche RS (Penske), C6R Vettes, and the Flying Lizard Porsche, all to their respective classes.

To be honest, I wanted to see the Astons more than anything, but they weren't there.

When they use the ALMS cars, I think Lime Rock facilitators have the cars go through a quick chicane to the right of the hill, so no they don't get any air. When I was there for the Grand Am GT Classic, the cars were going up the hill and some got air.

Yes, thats exactly right. If they didn't the P1 cars would just fly off the track. The Formula BMW's they didn't use it with the formula BMW's i don't think and you could hear the rear tires lighting up over the hills. So sick.

What's the history of Lime Rock? i.e. why is it such a significant track? I've been there for an HPDE, and the facilities aren't world class by any means. The track is challenging though.

Skip Barber has his racing school there. It's been around for many years. It's such a nice drive up, too.
