Default STi with S/C and Turbo. (no 56k)

Not sure what forum to put this in so I will post it here. I was at the Pavillions this evening and Forced Air Technologies was there with their project STi. It has an AMG S/C and a Garrett turbo. The intercooler isn't on yet so the S/C is running 8 lbs of boost and the turbo is at 12. Look at the clutch assembly on the S/C. I won't be going to the extreme with STi like I did with the S. I still think my S would kill the STi from a 30 roll (comptech & A/C with smaller pulley and front mount radiator), but from a dig, my S wouldn't stand a chance. Here are a few pics of this beast.

The owner said he hasn't ran it yet since the intercooler hasn't been installed. He was saying that it should be done this coming week. The best thing about it is that Forced Air Technologies is local for me.

Looks like a big mess. Not sure why anyone would do this to any car since it makes no sense. I guess he is looking for fast no lag jump a supercharger has with high end boost of a turbo? Well wouldn't a nitrous system accomplish the same without parasitic drag of the supercharger?

If it has to do with cars in general, it belongs in Car Talk forum.

Props for trying something different - I bet the under hood temps are going to be a factor with that setup!

My STi has too much lag after I shift into the next gear(light throttle), this would be nice, but not worth the effort.
