I've slipped a little lately but I usually hit the gym 2-3 times and run 2-3 days a week.

A five mile run and a six mile bike ride only take an hour?

Yup.
I run a 7.5 or 8 minute mile (depending on my energy level that day).
The 6 mile bike ride takes me 16.5 minutes.

Anyone working out everyday (assuming it's with weights) is either getting nowhere fast or risking chance of injury.. you won't see full potential if you workout everyday because your muscles need to rest, and grow when they rest, not when you're working out.. I know it's hard not to workout everyday, but 3 times a week of intense workouts with heavy weights targeting different muscle groups will give you better results then working out everyday.
