2006 Auto-x season?
So I have sold off just about everything for my Suby and it looks to be retired as a daily driver... so that leaves my Integra for my "toy" car... which is okay by me, it is much cheaper to play with.
So when is the first auto-x of 2006? estimates? I am kind of curious as to how long I have to get the car sorted out for any sort of real track driving...

Yippee! A Sunday Auto X! I've already marked my calendar (does anyone still use a calendar?)
Shameless plug: bookmark the DFWMiata.com home page, because we offer the most comprehensive North Texas autocross calendar every season. As the various local clubs announce their firm '06 schedules, we'll compile a calendar page that will list every North Texas event, all hot-linked to the hosting club's websites.
We also have a handy guide to all of the North Texas autocross organizations. This page offers links to club websites, along with typical number of runs, entry fees, sites used, etc.
Clovis - when you say TMS are you talking about the Bus Lot, or the infield course? And are you actually going to autocross that piece of overpriced Eurotrash next season?

TMS would mean the Bus Lot. If we were to run the infield it would not have training wheels, er, cones on it. And yes, the eurotrash will be out their duking it out against the "jap crap" next year.
Nivek, no worries. Thanks to Gregg's efforts the Mineral Wells schedule has filled up fast. It was Sunday or nothing in the May/June time frame.

Totally off topic side note - I got to take some 7/10ths laps on the new course at MSR yesterday (it's still not officially open, since the curbing isn't in yet), and that course is going to be an absolute riot! Huge elevation changes, blind corners - there is one corner that is very similar to "the Bitch" at Hallet. Very nice. I can't wait for a track day out there!

Meh. The infield course at TMS is rather bland and boring without any cones on it, imho.
